Salesian Youth Spirituality

Salesian Youth Spirituality is the Spirit’s gift to the Salesian Family. Embodied in a collaborative effort of young people, FMA, SDB, parents, lay collaborators, and other members of the Salesian Family, the Salesian Youth Spirituality is a response to a need to pass on our rich heritage to today’s world. It is an attempt to re-read and express the charismatic experience of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello again and again.

In Summary:

Centered on the Incarnation, we discover how God comes to meet us in our day-to-day living.

As alleluia people, who celebrate the presence of God’s love in our lives,
we make it our duty to share our joy and our hope with others.

We seek an ever-growing relationship with Jesus, our Friend, Teacher and Savior,
who walks with us on the journey of life.

We learn to love and live relationally in the Church, our setting for growth in faith
through the Word and through the Sacraments.
In the Church we find Mary, the first disciple, who accompanies, nurtures and inspires us.
