Our Prayer Life

An important part of our spiritual and communal life is our prayer life as Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco. We gather daily for structured moments of prayer, including meditation, the celebration of the Eucharist, the Liturgy of the Hours, and the recitation of the Rosary and spiritual reading. Short visits to the Blessed Sacrament and weekly Adoration are also included. These practices help us build a personal relationship with Christ and unite us as a community in our shared mission.

We draw inspiration from St. John Bosco and St. Mary Mazzarello, who taught us to stay attuned to God’s presence as contemplatives in action. Our prayer life is simple but sincere, filled with confidence in God’s love. We see our service to the young as an extension of our communion with God to live Don Bosco’s motto, “Da mihi animas, caetera tolle” (Give me souls, take away the rest).
